Too much work, but also some reading, including Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book (a little disapointing, but probably only because of how much I enjoyed the last few novels of his that I read).  The other thing I read, almost at a sitting, was Paul Lockhart's "A mathematician's lament".  This is an incredibly readable polemic about mathematics education, arguing that it should be taught as a living, creative subject rather than through boring drill.
